In the 4th, Brad Young and Joe Stubbe each delivered RBI singles, while Jake Spaeth blasted a three run home run (his first of the year).
The A's added three more runs in the 7th and two more runs in the 8th to put the game out of reach. Joe Stubbe delivered with a RBI double in the 7th, while Randy Finger and Jason Strobel each had RBI singles in the 8th. Jim Ziegler (6IP, 4K's) and Alex Nuelk (2IP, 4K's) combined for the shuout. Austin Sarauer 4x5 (2B), Jason Strobel 3x4 (RBI), Jake Spaeth 2x3 (HR, 2B, 3 RBI's) and Joe Stubbe (2B, 2 RBI's) led the way offensively for the A's. Then on Saturday the team travels to Lombard (IL) for a State League doubleheader (playing under West Bend) and finally on Sunday the team heads to Rubicon for a Rock River League matchup.
