The A's escaped a 9th inning, bases loaded, nobody out jam to leave Burlington with a 7-6 win over the West Allis Nationals on Saturday night. The Nationals put up a five spot in the second inning, but the A's responded with a five spot of their own in the next half inning and made that lead hold up. Derek Hall shined on the mound in relief scattering seven hits, while striking out 10 in relief to pick up the win.
Adam Bigus and Derek Hall led the way with two hits apiece while Harry Steldt collected a 2 RBI single in the five run third inning.
