Game 1 - 5-3 loss to Aventura (FL)

…Brad Young had a great start on the mound tossing 7 strong innings, but some first game defensive mistakes opened the door to Aventura. Jared Chesak (2B), Dylan Detert, Ryan Polizzi and Nick Rosenthal all chipped in with a hit.

Game 2 - 16-3 win over New York

…Luke Behm led the way offensively with two hits (3B) and 4 RBI. TJ Roberts (2B, RBI), Dylan Detert (2 RBI) and Brad Young (2B, 2 RBI) each finished with a hit. Nick Erd (4 IP, Win) and Adam Bigus (3 IP, Save) kept NY in check on the mound.

Game 3 - 10-4 win over Carolina

…The bats came alive in this one as the A’s pounded out 16 hits. Luke Behm (2B, RBI) and TJ Roberts (3B, 2 RBI) led the way at the plate. Jared Chesak, Dylan Detert, Nick Rosenthal and Mike Aiello all finished with two hits. Jim Ziegler picked up the complete game win on the mound (9 IP, 8 K’s).

Game 4 - 2-1 loss to Broward County (FL) in 11 innings

…Nick Erd was fantastic on the mound tossing the complete game (0 ER), but Broward County was able to push across the winning run with two outs in the 11th. Dylan Detert provided the A’s lone run on an absolute bomb of a homer, while Jared Chesak (3 hits) and Adam Bigus (2 hits, 2B) each finished with multiple hits.
